Combined across all traditional and Roth IRAs for 2026 (or your taxable compensation, if less).

Age 50 or older

$8,600

Includes the $1,100 catch-up contribution for 2026.

Roth IRA income phase-outs (2026)

Even if you are under the dollar cap, Roth contributions can phase out based on modified AGI and filing status:

  • Single / head of household: phase-out between $153,000 and $168,000
  • Married filing jointly: phase-out between $242,000 and $252,000
  • Married filing separately: phase-out between $0 and $10,000
